WALLS is a new book of photographs by Harley Weir, created in collaboration with the charity We Are Not Numbers. The photographs were all taken between 2013 – 2019 on both sides of the Israeli apartheid wall, from the occupied Palestinian West Bank to East Jerusalem. The images are textural and detailed, presenting an evocative outlook on signs of conflict, everyday life for Palestinians, and the effects of war on the regions’ architecture. The images are divided by a series of texts written by Palestinian authors documenting their personal stories and experiences. These pieces were curated and guided by We Are Not Numbers, a charity dedicated to the advocation of Palestinian rights, freedom and self-determination by supporting the next generation of Palestinian writers in sharing their stories. Proceeds from the book sales will go towards the charities We Are Not Numbers and Amos Trust to help positive sociopolitical change for the Palestinian people. You can also make a direct donation
